The image of this poster makes you want to watch the movie because of the doll in the front and background of a girl screaming. This makes it scary/ creepy because the doll has a scary face.. and she might've done something to the woman in the background. Whereas the colour pallet makes it look dark and mysterious because of the all the dark colours used in the poster, such as: green, black and red.
Some good ideas regarding imagery and colour, well done. Targets:
ReplyDelete1) Break your work up into clear paragraphs e.g. one for imagery, one for colour and one for title/text.
2) Link each point to why this follows genre conventions and why it will make the audience want to watch the film (you have done this for imagery but not colour pallet). Also, in terms of colour pallet write about what the colours connote (make you think of) and write why this shows it is a horror the audience will want to watch.
3) Add a paragraph on why the title and title font fit horror conventions and will make the audience want to watch the film.
Main target for your target sheet: use paragraphs correctly.
